OPEN POSITION: PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR

APS Survey & Mapping, Inc. is looking to hire a Professional Land Surveyor registered in Washington. Additional registration in Idaho and/or Montana is a plus. APS’ office is located in Bellevue, Washington with a satellite workspace in Roslyn, Washington. Most of our staff work remotely for convenience and efficiency. SURVEY PARTY CHIEF

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience including boundary and topographic surveying. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and the ability to utilize modern field equipment to include GPS and Robotic Transits, along with Data Collection Devices. All candidates should be able to efficiently produce quality survey work and meet tight deadlines. Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record, and clean background record to meet government project access requirements.

INSTRUMENT PERSON

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of one year experience as an instrument operator with data collection capabilities. This is an entry level opportunity to start a career in land surveying. Must have a valid ID and clean background record to meet government project access requirements.

SURVEY TECHNICIAN/LSIT

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of three years AutoCAD experience, along with a land surveying background and knowledge. Qualified candidates will be able to process survey data collected using electronic data collectors, interpret field notes, perform survey related calculations, and provide support to senior staff. In addition, ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and the ability to utilize sophisticated computer systems and software. Candidates should be able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
